Donations are appreciated at all levels of giving. Membership in FOTD@HU enables you to:

give scholarships and sponsor special educational activities for theatre and dance students
receive acknowledgement in production programs
receive advance notice of special opportunities and events

Annual Membership Levels

$55 annually

Friends Members serve as an important support and advisory group for the Department of Theatre Arts.

As a Member you will:

Connect with other people who share your passion and commitment for Theatre and Dance.
Support the amazing and talented Theatre and Dance Arts students at Howard University.
Deepen your community experience and strengthen your ties to Howard University.
Gain private access and special privileges (such as receptions, behind-the-scenes opportunities).
Receive acknowledgement in production programs for your gift.

If you choose, you can be further involved by volunteering your time and talents to serve on the Board of Directors. You could also assist with various committees such as Membership, the annual Gala, Special Projects and Events, or others. Some committees are year-round; others are active seasonally.

Membership is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law and often matched by corporate programs. Please note that tickets to productions and receptions are not tax deductible.
